Municipal Prosecutions & Enforcement

We advise and represent municipalities with respect to enforcement of the full range of municipal by-laws and other laws over which municipalities have enforcement jurisdiction, from zoning, to property standards, to Building Code compliance to DOLA. Our work includes providing legal advice, drafting by-laws, prosecuting provincial offences before the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court proceedings, including applications for injunctive relief and  Building Code matters. We appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice and Appellate Courts.
