Aleksandar Tomasevic is a member of the Civil Litigation group at O’Connor MacLeod Hanna LLP.
Aleksandar holds a B.A. in History from McGill University and a J.D. from the University of Ottawa. During law school, Aleksandar’s paper “Good Faith Bargaining: The Law Governing Contract Negotiations” was published in the 2019 County of Carleton Law Association Annual Civil Litigation Conference booklet. That paper has gone on to be cited by the University of Victoria Law Appeal Review of Current Law and Law Reform Vol. 27 (2022). He was placed on the Dean’s Honour List during his final year of law school.
Prior to joining O’Connor MacLeod Hanna LLP, Aleksandar articled for a litigation firm in Toronto. In June of 2022, Aleksandar was called to the Bar. Aleksandar practices in the area of commercial litigation, construction litigation, employment law, landlord tenant law, and other forms of litigation. He has experience supporting matters at all levels of court in Ontario.
Aleksandar is fluent in Serbo-Croatian. During his spare time he enjoys playing and watching sports, travelling, and trying various different types of cuisine.
