James McAskill
Practice:
James McAskill practices in the areas of Real Estate with a primary focus on commercial real estate.
James' commercial real estate practice involves acting for municipalities, developers and builders on property development matters, including land assemblies and exchanges, the registration of subdivisions and condominiums, the transfer of easements, the registration of agreements on title and the negotiation and registration of leases. James also acts for owners, municipalities, public utilities, developers, builders, financial institutions, private mortgage lenders, hospitals and charitable organizations on the acquisition, sale and financing of commercial properties including commercial properties and condominium units, industrial buildings and shopping malls and plazas.
James’ residential real estate practice involves acting for individuals and mortgage lenders on residential and recreational purchase, sale and mortgage transactions, including all forms of fractional ownership in recreational properties.
Professional Activities:
James is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Halton County Law Association.
Community Involvement:
James is a member of various volunteer organizations in the Greater Toronto area.
