Andrew C. Knox
Andy Knox has practised law since 1971, first in London, Ontario, then with a Bay Street law firm in Toronto, and since 1975 in Oakville with the law firm of O’Connor MacLeod Hanna LLP and its predecessor firms.
Andy has experience in many areas of practice but now concentrates almost exclusively on matters involving real estate. His practice includes both residential and non-residential real estate. He acts for private individuals as well as developers, builders, businesses, lenders, municipalities, utilities and other institutions.
Professional Activities have included, among many others:
- Acting for people buying, selling, and placing mortgages on their homes
- Acting for developers and builders of housing projects
- Acting on over fifty registrations of plans of subdivision
- Acting on numerous condominium projects of all types - residential and non residential - and including standard, vacant land, and common element condominiums
- Being a seminar leader in the Bar Admission Course, Real Estate and Landlord and Tenant Section
- Being an occasional seminar leader and lecturer at educational programs at The Law Society of Upper Canada
- Mentoring articling students and young lawyers at the firm
