Once again, Harold R. Watson chaired the Mayor’s Golf Tournament for the United Way of Milton. The event was held on 2009 at Granite Ridge Golf Course and raised a record breaking $152,439.00 for the United Way of Milton.
The event exceeded all expectations and constituted a great start to the United Way’s Fundraising Campaign. Hal again worked very closely with the Mayor and a great committee to achieve this result.
Hal has been the Chair of this event for the past 9 years since it commenced in 2001 and prior to that, chaired six golf tournaments for the United Way commencing in 1995. Hal is also currently serving on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Milton, and is looking forward to the 2010 tournament.
